SPONSOR A STUDENT

What is a Sponsor?
Sponsors are generous donors who make a 5-year commitment to help our students reach their dreams of attaining higher education. There are two sponsorship choices:

  • High school sponsor

  • College sponsor

What is a Sponsor's commitment?
We ask sponsors to sign a five-year pledge agreement for $7,500, which may be paid in advance or in yearly installments of $1,500. When you sponsor a student/mentor team, you will receive a profile and then yearly updates on your student. If you sponsor a college scholar, you will receive a profile and an annual letter from your student.

Why is Sponsorship so important?
It is incredibly motivating for our students to know that someone special cares about them and has a personal interest in their education.

Who can become a Sponsor?
You! Or, anyone you know who believes that all of our youth deserve equal-opportunity education. In some cases, several people - or a company or business may join together to sponsor a student.

To find out more about the Sponsor Program and about becoming a sponsor, please contact Carol Dedrich, Vice President of Development & Marketing at (323) 900-8777 or cdedrich@fulfillment.org.

“My sponsor and the Fulfillment Fund have been there when I needed you most. During the academic year the Fulfillment Fund staff is there to answer any question I have. Thank you for definitely making a big difference in my life.” - Erica
