HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMThe Fulfillment Fund is successful because we help disadvantaged high school students overcome social and economic barriers to college. High School students (9th-12th grades) receive college counseling, college site visits, SAT prep, experiential learning activities, financial aid counseling and a classroom based curriculum. The lessons of the curriculum are focused on 5 themes: high school graduation, self-advocacy and empowerment, influences of culture on decision making, self-assessment and critical reflection, and college readiness. We are helping students develop the life skills and beliefs needed to succeed in college and the workforce. Mentoring One-to-One Advising Workshops and Field Trips Destination: College - A day of informative seminars and a unique college fair. Princeton Review Grammar Smart and SAT Preparation. Application and essay workshops and drop-in application counseling. Transitions to College - Workshops that help students and parents prepare for college. College site visits - These local and out-of-state trips occur at least once a semester and provide students with the opportunity to visit college campuses, speak with faculty, staff and students, sit in on classes and stay overnight in the residence halls.

“I have gained so much knowledge from the education I have received and I owe it all to you. Without your help and guidance, I would not be at the place where I am now. I am lucky to have found people who care and I know that you will do the same for many others out there like me. Thank you for believing in me.” |
